Receptionist

The Receptionist is to greet clients and conduct administrative duties. This position reports to the Office Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to handle a high-volume switch board and reception area, including answering and transferring phone calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Act as an interface with client, visitors and guests, including greeting client, visitors and guests in a cordial manner
  • Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service orientation
  • Manage files, paperwork, faxes, emails, and communication with internal and external parties
  • Provide support for meetings and conference room reservations, as needed and directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Administrative/receptionist experience in a corporate/office environment
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Superior customer service skills and orientation
  • Ability to operate switchboard
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; working knowledge of copier, fax machine, and printers.
  • Basic real estate knowledge and/or exposure to real estate terminology desirable

Part-Time Receptionist (Nights and Weekends)

The Receptionist is to greet clients and conduct administrative duties. Hours for this role is M-Thursday from 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9-5:30pm. This role will include eligibility to medical benefits. This position reports to the Office Manager.

Marketing Manager

DeLeon Realty is seeking a Marketing Manager who will be in charge of leading our company’s marketing efforts alongside the Creative Director. You will be responsible for providing guidance to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, managing the day-to-day activities, and building awareness and positioning our company’s brand. This role will report to the CEO.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop & Implement Marketing Strategy – Develop strategies and tactics to raise customer and brand awareness. Research demand for our products and services. Evaluate and develop marketing strategy and marketing plan, incorporating the latest technology and ideas, where possible. Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals. Analyze consumer behavior and adjust marketing campaigns accordingly.
  • Project Manage the Marketing Team – Oversee the daily activities and performance of the marketing department, including planning, directing, and coordinating marketing efforts. Review and approve all marketing materials, ensure projects stay on track, and plan resources accordingly. Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing. Organize company seminars, trade shows, and major events.
  • Marketing Budget – Plan the annual marketing budget with quarterly updates. Execute the marketing budget, including monitoring and tracking expenses, understanding return-on-investment and profit-loss projects, and negotiating with vendors on pricing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/MS degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate marketing
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and working along-side creative people in marketing team
  • Experience with managing digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing, such as Zillow, Redfin, Trulia
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customers, and requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts, and communicate succinctly and accurately
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including strategic planning and goal attainment
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen
  • Professional and proactive work ethic, with great attention to detail

In-House Counsel

In-House Counsel drafts real estate contracts, reviews disclosures and highlights issues, meets with buyers to assist with the offer process, conducts legal research for the company, and supports the legal team.  Experience in residential real estate is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist buyers and buyer agents with the preparation and review of real estate purchase contracts and supporting documents in connection with offer submittals.
  • Review, analyze, summarize, and spot issues in real estate disclosures, including title related documents.  Review and analyze the same with clients and provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
  • Research, understand, and keep up-to-date with real estate laws and regulations at the local, county, and state level. Provide regular updates to the legal team regarding the same.
  • Conduct legal research, draft memos, and provide legal support to Corporate Counsel relating to real estate, litigation, and general business matters.
  • Work on a wide variety of business-related matters, including corporate, employment, contracts, ethics, and intellectual property.
  • Draft articles with legal topics for internal and external use (g., newsletters, training, webinars).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be admitted to the California State Bar
  • Experience in residential real estate required
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills required
  • Law firm experience preferred, especially if litigation
  • Ability to simplify complex and comprehensive information
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Desire to work effectively in a team setting
  • Possess a strong work ethic and work well under pressure and time limitations
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop expert knowledge regarding specifically assigned neighborhoods, schools, and all issues surrounding homeownership. Apply this knowledge to deliver high-value services to DeLeon Realty customers
  • Provide strategic and tactical consultation relating to purchasing and selling of real properties
  • Create and manage ongoing relationships with clients from initial engagements to closing of transactions
  • Assess buyers’ needs, explore active properties, perform market analysis of targeted properties, and present/show client selected properties for their consideration
  • Manage ongoing client communications and share status updates with internal team members
  • Advice & answer clients’ questions on market conditions, prices, mortgages, legal requirements, maintenance, appraisals and related matters
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A California real estate license required
  • 1-3 years of Real Estate industry or other similar large investment experience where dedication to performance, integrity, service, and innovation come first
  • Bachelor Degree is highly preferred
  • Ability to fluently speak, read and write in Mandarin
