After joining DeLeon Realty as one of its first employees, Kim enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks and is now a listing specialist with a focus on Palo Alto.
Kim was born and raised in China and immigrated to the United States in 1992. She holds an MBA in finance from the University of Texas and is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS). She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English. Since entering real estate in 2004, Kim has received many professional distinctions, including one of the most prestigious awards in the industry when she was named top producer for her company in 2007 and 2008.
Despite considerable success on her own, Kim’s career accelerated when she joined DeLeon Realty in 2012. The most stimulating element of this career move is that she and Michael Repka, CEO of DeLeon Realty, headed an initiative aimed at expanding upon the company’s strong relationship with the Mandarin-speaking community. Armed with a very substantial budget and the multi-lingual DeLeon Team, Kim was key in getting this initiative off the ground.
Additionally, many clients like the fact that Kim is on salary, not commission. This eliminates concerns about whether an agent’s advice is clouded by the fact the agent is getting a commission. Further, people like the fact that everyone at DeLeon Realty was hired to do what they do best.
Selling a home is an important decision, and the process can be stressful and confusing. Kim’s role is to guide each client through the entire process as smoothly as possible while ensuring that the best interests of the client are served. She understands that this requires complete commitment to every client in terms of time, effort, and close attention to detail. Kim’s expertise and strong work ethic have earned her many repeat clients.
Kim enjoys tennis, working out at the gym, yoga, hiking on the beautiful trails in the area, and traveling.
