The Heritage District is rich in culture and considered to be the historic heart of the city. With a tight-knit community and a lively downtown, this neighborhood is ready to meet a variety of lifestyle needs in one of Sunnyvale’s most desirable locations. Heritage District is bordered by Maude Avenue on the north, Wolfe Road on the east, Old San Francisco Road on the south, and Mathilda Avenue on the west. Flexible living awaits in this great neighborhood with attractive condominiums and townhomes available, as well as 69 charming historic homes. The majority of houses, however, are modest, single-story bungalows built between the 1930s and 1940s, which largely retain their original design.
Though steeped in history, Murphy Avenue Historic District offers plenty of excitement and community fun from the always popular Saturday Farmers’ Market, to annual events such as the highly anticipated Art and Wine Festival and joyful Christmas Tree Lighting celebration.
