About
Some say the Woodside Heights neighborhood is one of the most desirable places in Woodside to raise a family. With its strong network of families, nearby schools, outdoor recreation at Wunderlich and Huddart Parks, and a close-knit community, this point would be difficult to argue.
Though freeways, shopping centers, restaurants, and parks are just a short drive away, the abundant wildlife, streets lined with gorgeous redwood and pine trees, and smattering of vineyards retain the background of serene beauty so common in Woodside.
Built in the 1950s, many Woodside Heights homes remain original in condition while sitting on vast, multi-acre lots. The residents of Woodside Heights are a mix of lifelong residents and young families settling down for the first time; however, in recent years, more young families are moving into the neighborhood.
Residents in Woodside Heights are members of the Woodside Heights Homeowner Association. The association comes together to address neighborhood concerns, such as providing a safe environment for children, implementing more lane dividers and stop signs, and adding more speed limit signs to control the traffic generated by motorists. The association also organizes social gatherings, such as a summer BBQ and Christmas parties for residents.
